Our Commitment
Paths SM is an adults-only (18+) platform for friendship, dating, and business networking. We are committed to preventing, detecting, removing, and reporting any form of child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, trafficking, and the sexualization of minors. This policy describes our published standards against CSAE and applies to every member, all content, and all features of the Service.
Zero-Tolerance Standards
The following are strictly prohibited and result in immediate account termination and, where appropriate, reports to authorities:
- Creating an account if you are under 18, or facilitating use of the Service by a minor;
- Uploading, sharing, requesting, or linking to any content that depicts, describes, or sexualizes a minor — real, apparent, or simulated (including drawings, AI-generated imagery, and text);
- Contacting, grooming, soliciting, or attempting to meet a minor through the Service;
- Sextortion, trafficking, advertising, or any other sexual exploitation involving a minor;
- Misrepresenting your age, or stating or implying sexual interest in minors anywhere on your profile or in messages.
How We Prevent and Detect CSAE
- Adults only: every member must provide a date of birth at sign-up, and accounts found to belong to minors are removed immediately;
- Content moderation: member photos, videos, and audio are subject to review, and objectionable content is removed — typically within 24 hours of a report;
- In-app reporting and blocking: every profile, photo, video, message, and comment can be reported, and any member can be blocked instantly;
- Admin review: our moderation team reviews reports, suspends or terminates violating accounts, and escalates CSAE cases on a priority basis;
- Evidence preservation: where the law requires, we preserve account records related to CSAE reports for law enforcement.
Reporting CSAE
If you encounter content or behavior on Paths SM that may involve a minor or CSAE of any kind:
- Report it in the app using the report option on the profile or content, or
- Email us directly at support@pathsm.com with the subject line “CSAE Report.” This inbox is our designated point of contact for child-safety matters and reports are prioritized.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local law enforcement first. You can also report directly to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) at report.cybertip.org or 1-800-843-5678, or to the NCMEC website.
Cooperation with Law Enforcement
When we identify or are notified of apparent CSAM or child sexual exploitation, we remove the content, terminate the offending account, report to NCMEC and/or the appropriate law-enforcement authorities as required by applicable law (including 18 U.S.C. § 2258A), and cooperate fully with lawful investigations.
Compliance
These standards are published in accordance with child-safety requirements for online platforms and app stores, including the Google Play Child Safety Standards policy. Our child-safety point of contact is support@pathsm.com.
